Tendering Proposals Engineer – Pumps

About the role

We are seeking a Tendering Proposals Engineer specialising in pumps to join a global engineering firm. You will work on the specification, tendering and proposal development for spares and service projects, supporting customers from initial enquiry through to contract hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit detailed technical proposals for pump and rotating‑equipment projects.
• Coordinate tendering activities from enquiry, scope definition, cost estimation to final contract delivery.
• Review and evaluate technical specifications, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and company profitability targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams.
• Continuously improve tendering processes and contribute to technical progression within the business.

Required profile

• Mechanical engineering background with experience in rotating equipment.
• Previous involvement in tendering or proposals development, or a strong desire to move into this area.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to undertake extensive training and develop technical expertise.
