Term-time Nursery Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Nursery Nurse to join a thriving term‑time nursery serving families in Fulham and Kensington. The position is full‑time, Monday to Friday, and operates only during school terms, offering a supportive environment for early childhood development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide attentive care and supervision for children, ensuring safety and well‑being at all times.
• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social growth.
• Manage daily routines such as meals, naps, and play, maintaining a structured and welcoming setting.
• Observe, assess, and document each child’s progress, sharing insights with parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster an inclusive, positive atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery space.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare.
• Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to multitask calmly in a busy environment.
• Leadership qualities to support junior staff when needed.
• Genuine passion for nurturing young children.
