Test and Calibration Engineer

About the role

A leading provider of test and calibration solutions, working for large manufacturing and industrial companies mainly across the Midlands, is recruiting a Test and Calibration Engineer based in Birmingham. The company offers a stress-free environment and develops its employees through certificates and qualifications. You will start with full training with a senior engineer, then test and calibrate a range of instrumentation in a field-based role.

Key responsibilities

• Test, calibrate and service instrumentation across the Midlands, with some UK-wide travel
• Work within manufacturing facilities
• Very occasional overnight stays
• Door-to-door pay with about 5-10 hours of overtime per week at time and a half due to travel

Required profile

• Instrumentation experience not essential, as junior roles are available
• Confident with electrical circuitry
• Test and calibration experience is a bonus
• Any background considered
• Based in Birmingham and within 50 miles
