Test Centre Associate – Evenings & Weekends

About the role

Join the Reed in Partnership team as a Test Centre Associate at the Sidcup DVSA test centre. You will work evenings and weekends, providing a professional, customer‑focused experience for candidates taking their driving theory exams.

Key responsibilities

• Invigilate theory and hazard‑perception tests, ensuring compliance with DVSA standards.
• Check candidate identification, register them on the booking system and answer queries.
• Maintain the integrity and security of test materials throughout each session.
• Open and close the test centre, performing daily operational procedures.
• Report any incidents or irregularities that could affect candidate testing.
• Support candidates with accessibility needs in line with the Equality Act.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation and clear communication skills.
• Flexibility to work across all operating days, especially evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedural guidelines.
• Reliability and punctuality for shift‑based work.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy for using the test centre booking system.
