Test Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with an innovative technology company that creates connected mobile and hardware solutions for real‑world environments. The team in Brighton is expanding and needs a detail‑oriented Test Engineer to ensure product quality, performance, and reliability across both software and hardware components.

Key responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing on iOS and Android applications.
• Build, maintain, and run automated mobile test suites.
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to improve overall product quality.
• Support hardware/device setup and configuration testing when required.

Required profile

• Solid commercial experience testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android.
• Experience with mobile automation testing tools or frameworks.
• Background in testing connected devices or hardware‑integrated solutions.
• Strong knowledge of QA processes, test planning, and defect management.
• Experience working in Agile environments and excellent attention to detail.
