Test Technician

About the role

HellermannTyton is seeking a Test Technician to join its manufacturing team in Truro. You will support the production line by testing cable harnesses, assisting with repairs, and ensuring tools are calibrated to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform testing of cable harnesses and initiate corrective actions when needed.
• Assist in repairing components and calibrating testing equipment.
• Support store operations and contribute to the quotation process.
• Carry out inspection and testing activities aligned with production requirements.
• Participate in process‑improvement projects and implement changes.
• Provide ad‑hoc assistance across the business to meet company objectives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or technical support environment.
• Ability to multitask and support several functions simultaneously.
• Strong commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and meeting targets.

Required skills

• Cable harness testing.
• Tool calibration.
