Test & Validation Integration Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Test & Validation Integration Engineer to bridge physical products and smart IoT technology. You will own the specification, sourcing, testing and validation of IoT devices and sensors, ensuring reliable connected features before market launch.

Key responsibilities

• Specify, source and procure off‑the‑shelf IoT devices, sensors and hardware that meet product requirements.
• Design and execute DVT/PVT testing protocols to validate smart technologies under real‑world conditions.
• Troubleshoot integration issues across physical, electronic and data interfaces.
• Act as technical liaison for hardware suppliers, test labs and manufacturing vendors.
• Track integration milestones, timelines and risks using tools such as Jira, Trello or Excel.
• Maintain accurate validation logs, schematics and component specification sheets.

Required profile

• A degree in Electrical, Electronic, Systems or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience with IoT devices.
• Proven experience testing, validating and debugging hardware, sensors or connected devices.
• Practical knowledge of wireless protocols (BLE, Wi‑Fi, LoRa, cellular).
• Familiarity with compliance standards (CE/UKCA, FCC, IP ratings) and component procurement.
