Theatre Nurse / ODP Scrub – Full‑time

About the role

As a Theatre Nurse/ODP Scrub you will join the Theatre Team at Park Hill Hospital, delivering high‑standard, efficient and individualised patient care in a fast‑paced orthopaedic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing and scrub support for surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes.
• Plan and prepare required equipment and consumables for each case.
• Adhere to Ramsay Health Care policies, procedures and the Ramsay Way standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and multidisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection‑control protocols.

Required profile

• Registered with the NMC or HCPC.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated customer service and computer skills.
• Ability to plan equipment and consumable requirements.
• ALS and SFA qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• Experience in major orthopaedic scrub work is desirable.
