Theatre Scrub Nurse – Orthopaedics (Full‑Time)

About the role

Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking an experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse to join the Orthopaedics team at Woodlands Hospital, Kettering. You will work in a modern theatre environment equipped with laminar airflow systems and advanced integrated technology, supporting high‑quality surgical outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide scrub assistance for orthopaedic procedures including hip and knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure all instruments and equipment are prepared and accounted for.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and the wider theatre team to deliver safe patient care.
• Adhere to infection control policies and hospital protocols.

Required profile

• Current NMC registration with no restrictions.
• Proven scrub experience in orthopaedic surgery.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexible, positive attitude and empathetic approach to patient care.

Required skills

• Knowledge of orthopaedic surgical instruments and procedures.
• Understanding of sterile technique and theatre safety standards.
