Theatre Scrub Nurse – Orthopaedics

About the role

Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking an experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse to join the Orthopaedics team at Woodlands Hospital, Kettering. You will work in state‑of‑the‑art operating theatres equipped with laminar airflow systems, supporting a range of orthopaedic procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide scrub assistance for orthopaedic surgeries, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all instruments and equipment are prepared and accounted for.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and the wider theatre team to deliver safe, efficient patient care.

Required profile

• Current NMC registration with no restrictions.
• Demonstrated surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics.
• Positive, flexible attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Warm, considerate and empathetic character.

• Surgical First Assist (SFA) qualification – desirable but not essential
