Theatre Scrub Nurse/ODP – Orthopaedics (Full‑time)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Theatre Scrub Practitioner to join the Theatre Team at Yorkshire Clinic Private Hospital in Bingley. You will work across a range of surgical specialties, with a focus on orthopaedic procedures, ensuring high standards of patient care throughout the peri‑operative phase.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage the sterile field for orthopaedic and other surgical cases.
• Assist the surgical team by providing instruments, supplies, and equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards and hospital policies.
• Support the Quality agenda by monitoring performance against standards and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with consultants, nurses, and other stakeholders to deliver safe, effective, and patient‑centred care.

Required profile

• Current registration with the NMC (Nurse) or HCPC (ODP).
• Proven experience in a similar theatre scrub or ODP role.
• Strong clinical background in acute surgical care.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement.
