Therapist – Fostering

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Therapist to provide high‑quality therapeutic support to foster parents and the children placed with them. Working within our Yorks & Lincs team, you will create a therapeutic environment that enhances the wellbeing of looked‑after children.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions for foster parents and children.
- Conduct consultations, training workshops and the Team Parenting model in partnership with social work staff and external agencies.
- Support the agency’s stability strategy by helping foster families maintain therapeutic practices.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory policies.
Required profile
- Highly motivated and passionate about fostering services.
- Experience in a fostering, child‑welfare or similar therapeutic setting is desirable.
- Strong administrative abilities and attention to regulatory processes.
Required skills
What we offer
- Salary up to £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- Company car or £2,000 car allowance.
- 30‑35 days annual leave, bank holidays, life assurance and pension.
