TICA Insulator – Day Shift (Portsmouth Dockyard)

About the role

We are seeking TICA Insulators/Laggers to join a long‑term temporary project at Portsmouth Dockyard. The role involves day‑shift work, Monday to Friday, starting at 7:30 am, supporting new contracts for our client. It is a full‑time position that will continue for the duration of the client’s contracts, offering stability while remaining temporary.

Key responsibilities

• Perform insulation and lagging tasks on ships and dockyard structures in accordance with safety standards.
• Maintain compliance with TICA procedures and hold a valid BLUE TICA Card.
• Ensure all insulation work meets quality standards and documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure timely completion of work.
• Report any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly.

Required profile

• Possession of a valid BLUE TICA Card.
• Ability to work day shifts (Mon‑Fri) starting at 7:30 am.
• Willingness to obtain security clearance as required.
• Flexibility to stay on site if accommodation is provided.
• Previous experience in marine insulation is advantageous but not mandatory.
