TIG Welder – Afternoon Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Coded TIG Welder to join a specialist precision‑fabrication business that produces high‑integrity cryogenic pressure vessels for MRI cryostats and other advanced medical systems. The role offers a stable Monday‑to‑Friday afternoon shift with strong overtime potential.

Key responsibilities

• Perform coded TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium and nickel alloy components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and welding procedure specifications (WPS) to produce welds to strict quality standards.
• Prepare, weld, finish and inspect precision components for cryogenic pressure vessels.
• Support rigorous testing regimes, including helium leak, vacuum and hydrostatic testing.
• Work the afternoon shift from 2:15 pm to 10:25 pm.

Required profile

• Experienced Coded TIG Welder comfortable with engineering drawings.
• Proven ability to meet tight quality standards in high‑integrity welding.
• Skilled in welding stainless steel, aluminium and nickel alloys.
• Able to commute to Didcot.
