About the role
We are looking for a highly organised Timetabling Administrator to support a busy university team in Poole. The role involves creating and maintaining accurate teaching timetables, ensuring efficient use of rooms and meeting the needs of students and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Create, update and maintain teaching timetables and room allocations.
- Gather scheduling requirements from academic departments and coordinate changes.
- Communicate timetable updates to all stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
- Monitor room utilisation and maintain data integrity in timetabling systems.
- Provide administrative support and respond to timetable‑related queries.
Required profile
- Previous administrative experience, preferably in education or a complex scheduling environment (not essential).
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.
- Experience using databases.
- Comfort with IT systems and timetabling software.
