Tipper Driver (C+E) – Tramper

About the role

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) tipper drivers to join our logistics team, delivering asphalt and dry aggregates across the South East. This is a tramper position, meaning you will stay overnight at job sites during the working week.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver asphalt and aggregates safely to customer sites throughout the region.
• Sheet, secure and check loads to meet legal and company standards.
• Operate tipping equipment at quarries, plants and customer locations.
• Perform daily vehicle checks, report defects and carry out basic maintenance.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete all delivery paperwork and tachograph records accurately.
• Adhere to drivers' hours, tachograph legislation and company SHE standards.
• Promote a safety‑first culture and represent the business professionally.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (essential).
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph regulations.
• Previous tipper experience (desirable).
• Reliable, flexible and safety‑focused with strong communication skills.
