Toolmaker – Injection Moulding (Stevenage)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join a leading injection‑moulding manufacturer in Stevenage. You will work in a modern, purpose‑built facility, maintaining and building high‑precision mould tools for a range of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Modify and repair injection moulding machines and mould tools.
• Manufacture and fit new injection mould tools to exact specifications.
• Operate manual milling machines, lathes, surface and cylindrical grinders.
• Use manual and CNC spark eroders and CNC wire eroders.
• Perform hand‑tool operations such as filing, hacksawing and grinding.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure parts meet standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in toolmaking and high‑precision machining.
• Ability to fit, assemble and repair complex mould tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
