About the role
We are seeking an experienced Toolmaker / Precision Grinder to join a growing engineering team in Aldershot. The role offers a hands‑on environment focused on manual and CNC machining with a strong emphasis on precision grinding.
Key responsibilities
- Perform precision grinding to tight tolerances using surface, ring, honing and cylindrical grinding techniques.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Inspect finished components with a range of precision measuring equipment.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a manual/CNC machinist, toolmaker or toolroom engineer.
- Extensive precision‑grinding experience across multiple disciplines.
- Ability to work to fine tolerances with strong attention to detail.

What we offer
- Salary up to £39,000 per year (range £33,000‑£39,000).
- 39‑hour week, Mon‑Thu 07:30‑16:00, Fri 07:30‑15:00 with overtime available.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- Company pension contribution of 5%.
