Town Planner – Associate/Associate Director

About the role

We are partnering with a leading planning and environmental consultancy to recruit an Associate or Associate Director Town Planner. The role will help shape a new Landscape Architecture & Planning team, working closely with senior leadership on high‑profile infrastructure and development projects across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the team’s strategic direction and best‑practice processes.
• Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams delivering planning, regeneration and development schemes.
• Maintain and grow client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for account management.
• Oversee hands‑on project delivery, ensuring compliance with planning regulations and client expectations.
• Contribute to business development and proposal preparation for new opportunities.

Required profile

• Chartered Town Planner with a solid foundation in planning and development.
• Proven experience managing teams at senior level.
• Strong client‑facing skills with a track record of successful account management.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with practical project execution.
