Town Planner

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Town Planner to join a design‑led planning consultancy in the heart of Manchester. You will work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and regeneration projects, ranging from small schemes to high‑profile developments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage planning applications.
• Conduct research and provide sound policy advice.
• Support senior colleagues with appeals and strategic planning work.
• Engage with clients, stakeholders and local authorities.
• Contribute to high‑quality planning statements and reports.

Required profile

• A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
• Ideally MRTPI status (or working towards it).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, organised approach and genuine passion for planning.
• Previous consultancy experience is beneficial but not essential.
