Town Planner – Planning Consultancy in Edinburgh

About the role
We are seeking a motivated Town Planner to join an established planning consultancy in Edinburgh. You will work on a variety of residential, commercial and mixed‑use projects, guiding them from concept through to completion.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals.
- Conduct site appraisals and feasibility studies.
- Engage with local authorities, stakeholders and clients.
- Provide strategic planning advice.
- Support project delivery across multiple sectors.
Required profile
- Degree in Town Planning or a related field.
- Working towards or holding MRTPI status.
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
