Town Planner – Planning Consultancy Role

About the role
We are seeking a motivated Town Planner to join an established planning consultancy in Edinburgh. You will work on a variety of residential, commercial and mixed‑use projects, guiding them from concept through to planning approval.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals for diverse development schemes.
- Conduct site appraisals, feasibility studies and impact assessments.
- Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders and clients to secure planning outcomes.
- Provide strategic planning advice and support project delivery across multiple sectors.
Required profile
- Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
- Working towards or holding MRTPI status.
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage several projects and meet deadlines.
