Toyota Vehicle Technician

About the role

We are expanding our workshop team at a busy Toyota dealership in Cheltenham. The Vehicle Technician will work Monday‑Friday (8:30 am‑5 pm) and occasional Saturdays on a rota, delivering high‑quality service, repair and diagnostics for a wide range of vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts and air‑conditioning servicing.
• Diagnose and service electric and hybrid vehicles using electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs and control systems.
• Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
• Complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
• Collaborate with workshop colleagues to share knowledge and continuously improve.

Required profile

• Experience in the automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Technician, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester or similar role.
• Holding or working towards an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Ability to work on both conventional and electric/hybrid vehicles.
