Trade Sales & Service Apprentice

About the role

Join Howdens Joinery as a Trade Sales & Service Apprentice at the Barrow depot. You will be immersed in a busy, customer‑facing environment from day one, gaining hands‑on experience in sales, stock control and product knowledge while working towards a Level 2 Trade Supplier Apprenticeship.

Key responsibilities

• Serve trade customers face‑to‑face and over the phone, providing product advice and support.
• Build and maintain relationships that drive sales and repeat business.
• Learn the full range of Howdens products, including kitchens, joinery and related materials.
• Assist with stock control, deliveries and depot organisation.
• Develop confidence and competence in a fast‑paced depot setting.

• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Friendly, confident and ready to get stuck in.
• Reliable, organised and looking for a long‑term career.
• Willingness to undertake Maths & English support if required.
