Trader Assistant – Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund (Dubai)

About the role

The position supports a multi‑asset trading desk at a global hedge fund expanding its presence in the UAE. You will work directly with senior traders and the operations team, ensuring smooth trade processing and accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and book trades across multiple asset classes.
• Prepare and analyse daily P&L and risk reports.
• Oversee trade execution and monitor operational controls.
• Produce regular performance and risk dashboards for senior management.
• Collaborate on ad‑hoc projects for head traders and global operations.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of experience in hedge‑fund operations, middle‑office, or trader‑assistant roles.
• Strong academic background.
• Demonstrated project‑management capability.
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai, with openness to candidates from London, Hong Kong or similar financial hubs.
