Trading Operations Engineer – High‑Frequency Prop Trading

About the role

This position is for a Trading Operations Engineer joining a high‑frequency proprietary trading team. You will support live trading, manage risk, and help scale the firm’s automated trading infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor high‑volume live trading and portfolio risk in real time.
• Contribute to the automated trading operations codebase.
• Manage ongoing projects with support teams across software and hardware.
• Coordinate software and hardware upgrades.
• Apply programmatic solutions to scale and expand trading operations.
• Resolve discrepancies in trading positions, broker statements, and internal applications.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in trading operations or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong analytical abilities and data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Understanding of P&L and risk reporting applications.
• Familiarity with market structure and regulatory developments.
• Ability to diagnose complex real‑time systems with minimal guidance.

Required skills

• Proficient scripting in Python.
• Intermediate knowledge of Linux environments.
