Trainee Audiology Practitioner – Entry Level

About the role

Join Specsavers as a Trainee Audiology Practitioner and support customers on their hearing journey. You will receive industry‑leading training, start with wax removal using microsuction, and progress to full clinical activities under the guidance of a Hearing Aid Dispenser.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers in the St Ives store and provide cover for the Cambridge store.
• Perform wax removal using microsuction techniques after training.
• Complete clinical activities along the customer pathway once qualified.
• Drive to cover multiple store locations and work a full‑time schedule, including upcoming weekend shifts.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Keen interest in personal development and a desire to build audiology expertise.
• Ability to drive and access a car.
• Willingness to work full‑time (40 hrs/week) and weekends.

Required skills

• Microsuction technique for ear wax removal.
• Use of patient management systems.
