Trainee BIM Technician

About the role

Brush Group is looking for an enthusiastic Trainee BIM Technician to join its building services engineering team in Edinburgh. You will receive comprehensive training and mentorship while developing 2D CAD layouts and 3D Revit models that support sustainable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Convert engineering design intent into accurate technical drawings.
• Create and maintain 3D building services models using Revit.
• Coordinate BIM models with architectural and structural disciplines.
• Ensure models meet industry standards and spatial coordination requirements.
• Manage document issuance and maintain design deliverables.
• Learn information management practices through project experience.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic IT literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Aptitude for learning new software and working practices.
