Trainee Bookkeeper – ACCA & AAT Training, Hybrid after 6 months

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Bookkeeper to join our accounting and business advisory team in Witney. This trainee position offers full ACCA and AAT training, 1‑on‑1 mentorship from industry professionals, and a clear progression path toward full qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update general ledger entries and subsidiary accounts.
• Process supplier invoices, expense claims and client billing.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month‑end closing tasks.
• Support senior accountants in preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.

Required profile

• Eager to learn with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
• Possess A‑Levels or equivalent qualifications.
• Able to commute to Witney on a daily basis.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Basic bookkeeping knowledge.
