Trainee Building Surveyor – Entry Level

About the role

Join B3Living as a Trainee Building Surveyor in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. This permanent, full‑time position offers you the chance to develop practical surveying skills while supporting the maintenance and improvement of affordable homes.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect residential properties and report on condition.
• Assist with planned maintenance projects and ensure work meets quality standards.
• Support contract management, procurement and compliance activities.
• Interact with customers, contractors and internal teams to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Awareness of inclusion and customer needs.
• Minimum of A‑Levels, BTEC Level 3 or equivalent (104 UCAS points).
• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of contract management (advantageous).
• Familiarity with building or surveying environments (advantageous).
