Trainee Bus Driver – Speke

About the role

Join Arriva’s Speke depot as a Trainee Bus Driver and start a career delivering essential transport services to the local community. You will receive full paid training, including a PCV licence, and work on a rotating shift pattern to help commuters, schoolchildren and shoppers reach their destinations safely.

Key responsibilities

• Operate buses on scheduled routes, ensuring punctual and safe journeys for passengers.
• Provide friendly, courteous customer service and assist passengers as needed.
• Maintain compliance with safety, traffic and company regulations.
• Communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues to resolve queries.

Required profile

• Age 18 or older with at least 12 months of driving experience.
• Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Successful drug and alcohol test.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
