Trainee Car Sales Executive – Lexus Dealership

About the role

Join Listers Group Limited as a Trainee Car Sales Executive at our Lexus dealership in Cheltenham. This full‑time position offers a structured training programme designed to develop your automotive sales expertise and launch a long‑term career in the sector.

Key responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers, understand their needs and match them with suitable vehicles.
• Handle inbound enquiries, walk‑in prospects and internet leads, and follow up on calls.
• Achieve monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration and add‑on product sales.
• Prepare financing options, contracts and ensure complete customer satisfaction throughout the purchase process.
• Collect and maintain accurate customer and vehicle data in compliance with FCA and data‑protection regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in car sales, retail management or sales management is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly build customer rapport.
• Valid UK driver’s licence.
• Motivation to develop a career in the automotive industry.
