About the role

This trainee cyber security programme is designed for individuals with no prior experience who want to launch a career in IT and cyber security. Over a series of four steps you will receive accredited training, hands‑on lab work, official certifications and a guaranteed placement as an IT Technician.

Key responsibilities

• Complete accredited online courses from CompTIA covering IT fundamentals, networking and cyber security.
• Participate in practical lab sessions to apply theoretical knowledge.
• Sit the CompTIA A+ and Network+ exams and obtain the certifications.
• Work with the recruitment team to secure a full‑time IT Technician role with a salary between £26k‑£35k.

Required profile

• No previous IT or cyber security experience required.
• Motivation to study online and complete the training at your own pace.
• Basic computer literacy and a willingness to develop technical skills.

Required skills
