Trainee Dental Nurse – Full‑time & Part‑time Positions in Putney

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurses to join our modern practice in Putney. Two positions are available – one full‑time and one part‑time – offering immediate start dates and full support as you work towards a recognised Dental Nursing qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients throughout their appointments, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Clean, sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Prepare treatment rooms and set up necessary materials before each patient.
• Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, reception staff and the Head Nurse to deliver seamless care.
• Support emergency, cosmetic, implant and orthodontic procedures under supervision.

Required profile

• Enrolled on, or planning to enrol on, a GDC‑approved Dental Nursing course.
• Strong desire to build a long‑term career in dentistry.
• Friendly, approachable with excellent communication skills.
• Reliable, organised and able to thrive in a busy clinical environment.
• Eligible to work in the UK and willing to complete Hepatitis B immunisation.

Required skills

• Familiarity with iTero scanner technology.
• Experience or training in CBCT imaging.
• Use of digital dentistry software and treatment planning systems.
• Knowledge of infection‑control and instrument sterilisation procedures.
