About the role
We are seeking motivated individuals to join dental practices in Lancaster as Trainee Dental Nurses. This position offers a paid entry point into dental nursing, with full training provided on‑the‑job, leading to GDC registration and a permanent role upon qualification.
Key responsibilities
- Support dentists during patient appointments by preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments.
- Assist with patient reception, record‑keeping and basic clinical tasks under supervision.
- Maintain strict infection‑control and health‑and‑safety standards.
- Complete a structured training programme and associated examinations.
- Build a Record of Experience portfolio to demonstrate competency.
Required profile
- No prior dental experience required; a genuine interest in oral health care.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Commitment to complete the training programme within the agreed timeframe.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Required skills
- Familiarity with dental instruments and equipment.
- Understanding of hygiene and infection‑control procedures.
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £11‑£13 during training.
- Interest‑free payment options for the training fee (£799 deposit, balance spread over 6 months).
