Trainee Dispensing Optician – Ealing

About the role

We are seeking a GOC‑registered trainee to join our Ealing Broadway store as a Dispensing Optician. You will work alongside experienced optometrists and dispensing opticians, delivering high‑quality eye‑care services while developing your professional skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with frame selection and lens fitting.
• Prepare and dispense spectacles according to prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update dispensing notes.
• Support the optical team in clinical and administrative tasks.
• Ensure the store meets health‑and‑safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• GOC‑registered student or trainee dispensing optician.
• Enrolled in an ophthalmic dispensing programme.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of dispensing optics and lens technologies.
