Trainee Financial Planner (Birmingham)

About the role

Join Titan Wealth Planning as a Trainee Financial Planner and work in a supportive, desk‑based advisory environment. You will be attached to an established client bank, gaining hands‑on experience delivering financial planning advice and building relationships from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial planning advice to an existing portfolio of clients (typically up to £250k in investable assets).
• Conduct client reviews and ongoing servicing conversations.
• Support the conversion of existing clients onto ongoing service propositions.
• Identify additional client needs across wealth‑planning areas and generate advice income.
• Collaborate with internal teams across the wider Titan group to uncover cross‑selling opportunities.
• Ensure all advice complies with FCA regulations and internal processes.
• Maintain accurate, high‑quality client documentation and reporting.
• Continue developing technical knowledge and industry expertise.

Required profile

• Diploma‑qualified individual currently working in paraplanning, client management or mortgage advice.
• Motivated to progress to a full Financial Planner role.
• Strong interest in wealth management, employee benefits and retirement planning.
• Ability to work with an existing client bank and deliver advice under supervision.
