Trainee Financial Planner – £42k + Bonus, Hybrid/Flexible

About the role

Join a well‑established Chartered Independent Financial Planning firm as a Trainee Financial Planner. You will work with an inherited client bank of around £40m AUM and receive full training and mentorship to develop into a qualified adviser.

Key responsibilities

• Provide holistic financial advice across pensions, investments, protection, estate and intergenerational wealth planning.
• Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships, ensuring exceptional outcomes.
• Utilise the firm’s advanced technology platforms to deliver efficient, client‑focused service.
• Collaborate with a dedicated administrator and paraplanning team to prepare recommendations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and study towards Chartered status.

Required profile

• Experience as a paraplanner with some client‑facing exposure or a trainee adviser seeking progression.
• Strong motivation to become a Chartered Financial Planner.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Commitment to high standards of compliance and client care.
