Trainee Financial Planner – £42k Salary, Bonus, Hybrid – Launceston

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Financial Planner to join a well‑established Chartered Independent Financial Planning firm in Launceston. You will receive full training and mentoring to develop into a qualified adviser, working with an inherited client bank of around £40m AUM.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver holistic financial advice across pensions, investments, protection, estate planning and intergenerational wealth planning.
• Manage and grow relationships with clients from the existing £40m client bank.
• Utilise AI‑driven tools to improve efficiency and reduce administrative workload.
• Collaborate with a dedicated administrator and paraplanning team to prepare recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and firm policies.

Required profile

• Experience as a paraplanner with some client‑facing exposure, or a trainee adviser looking to progress.
• Strong desire to achieve Chartered Financial Planner status.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes and building long‑term relationships.
• Ability to work autonomously within a hybrid/flexible environment.
