Trainee Fire & Flood Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Fire & Flood Technician to join our restoration team on a full‑time permanent basis. You will work on residential properties across East London, assisting with the removal of damaged materials and the set‑up of drying and heating equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Strip out fixtures and fittings from properties affected by fire or flood.
• Set up and operate drying equipment, heat pads and related restoration tools.
• Collect, transport and organise equipment using a company van.
• Travel to customer sites across the East London postcode area.
• Undertake on‑the‑job training and relevant certification courses.

Required profile

• Previous experience in construction, labouring, or a similar hands‑on role.
• Strong customer‑facing attitude and ability to work independently.
• Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Availability to work 39 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, starting at 8:00 am.
