Trainee Gas Engineer – Development Programme

About the role

This is a full‑time, temporary Trainee Development Programme for newly qualified gas engineers. You will start working on real gas‑engineer jobs from day one, gaining practical experience while being supported by senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform gas‑engineer tasks on live sites under supervision.
• Follow a 4‑on‑4‑off shift pattern, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Travel between AO.com sites as required to broaden experience.
• Participate in on‑call support and technical training sessions.

Required profile

• CCN1 certification (mandatory).
• Full UK/EU driving licence with no more than six points.
• Age 21 or over (insurance requirement).
• Willingness to learn and develop into a fully qualified gas engineer.
