Trainee HGV Driver – Full‑time – Glasgow

About the role

Join one of the UK’s largest HGV training providers as a full‑time Trainee HGV Driver. No prior experience is required – you will receive DSA‑accredited training, complete your medical assessment, and obtain your CPC and HGV licence before starting paid work.

Key responsibilities

• Attend classroom and practical training at a designated centre.
• Complete the required medical examination and CPC certification.
• Pass the HGV licence tests and obtain a full commercial driver’s licence.
• Drive for partner companies after qualification, adhering to safety and compliance standards.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid UK driver’s licence.
• Willingness to undertake full‑time training and subsequent employment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime.
