Trainee Insurance Advisor – Entry Level

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position offers an entry‑level opportunity to start a career in insurance advice within NFU Mutual’s Tunbridge Wells & Flimwell Agency. Over an 18‑month structured programme you will rotate through all core agency functions, gaining hands‑on experience in sales, claims and customer service. You will begin with a six‑month placement focused on lead generation before progressing to broader responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead generation – proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities via outbound calls, emails and networking.
• Maintain accurate records of contacts, prospects and follow‑up activities.
• Support personal insurance new business and renewal processes.
• Assist with commercial insurance new business enquiries.
• Participate in claims handling and provide customer service support.
• Collaborate with senior advisors to ensure smooth processing of policies and claims.

Required skills

• Valid CII (Claims) certification (preferred).
