Trainee Kitchen Designer – Full Training & £30k

About the role

Join a leading kitchen furniture manufacturer in Sidcup as a Trainee Kitchen Designer. This full‑time position provides comprehensive training and hands‑on experience, preparing you to become a skilled designer.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret project briefs and produce accurate plans, elevations and specifications.
• Learn and apply CAD tools (Winner and Fusion) to create detailed kitchen layouts.
• Assist senior designers with material selection, appliances, lighting and fittings.
• Support the preparation of quotations and specification documents.
• Participate in site visits and client meetings to understand requirements.

Required profile

• Strong enthusiasm for interior and kitchen design.
• Excellent spatial awareness and an eye for room layouts.
• Good numeracy and ability to work from measurements.
• High computer literacy and quick learning of new software.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and fluent English communication.
• Optional: Full UK driving licence for use of company pool car.

Required skills

• Winner CAD software.
• Fusion CAD software.
• Specification software used for kitchen projects.
