Trainee Loss Adjuster – Kent

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Loss Adjuster to join our claims team in Kent. You will support the management of domestic property claims from the first assessment through to final settlement, gaining hands‑on experience in field investigations and customer liaison.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections of residential properties to assess damage.
• Gather evidence, photograph damage and compile detailed reports.
• Liaise with policyholders, contractors and third‑party experts to clarify claim details.
• Assist senior adjusters in evaluating loss values and preparing settlement offers.
• Maintain accurate claim records in the company’s system.

Required profile

• Strong interest in insurance and property claims.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel within the Kent area for inspections.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of property damage assessment.
• Proficiency in using mobile devices for data capture.
