Trainee Loss Adjuster – Property Claims (Essex)

About the role
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Loss Adjuster to join our claims team in Grays, Essex. You will support the management of domestic property claims from initial assessment through to settlement, gaining hands‑on experience in field inspections and customer liaison.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site inspections of residential properties to assess damage.
- Evaluate claim information and prepare accurate loss estimates.
- Liaise with policyholders, contractors and third‑party experts to gather necessary evidence.
- Assist senior adjusters in negotiating fair settlements.
- Maintain detailed claim records and ensure timely progression through the system.
Required profile
- Strong interest in insurance and property claims.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel locally for site visits.
