About the role
The Trainee Management Programme prepares you to become a British Army Officer. Based at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, you will receive intensive training in leadership, weapons handling, outdoor survival and specialist skills required for a range of operational roles.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a team of up to 30 soldiers after commissioning.
- Complete 44 weeks of initial officer training at Sandhurst.
- Undertake specialist training in fields such as engineering, intelligence or aviation.
- Participate in adventurous training worldwide, including skiing, rafting and other challenging activities.
Required profile
- Demonstrated leadership potential and a strong sense of purpose.
- Physical fitness and willingness to operate in hostile environments.
- Ability to commit to full‑time training and subsequent service.
