Trainee Occupational Health Technician

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Occupational Health Technician to join a friendly, supportive team in Cambridge. You will work full‑time on a permanent basis, delivering health screening and surveillance services for a range of clients. The role involves operating a mobile medical unit with weekly overnight stays.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct health screening and health surveillance for client organisations.
• Operate a mobile medical unit, travelling to client sites across the Cambridge area.
• Stay overnight on the unit as required to ensure continuous service delivery.
• Collaborate with senior occupational health staff to maintain high‑quality service standards.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overnight stays.
• Relevant background such as Sports Science, Emergency Medical Technician, or Health Care Assistant is considered.

Required skills

• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to operate a mobile medical unit safely.
