Trainee Operations Officer (Hybrid)

About the role

This trainee position supports a well‑established financial services firm in managing the movement of stock across multiple counterparties. Working on a hybrid schedule, you will help ensure transactions are processed accurately and in line with internal controls and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end processing of stock registrations and transfers, ensuring accurate settlement for client and nominee accounts.
• Monitor operational workflows and internal systems to track trade settlement, resolve discrepancies and liaise with internal teams and external parties.
• Maintain reconciliation processes, review stock positions, investigate breaks and support ongoing operational improvements and procedural testing.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or individual with a strong interest in financial services or investment operations.
• Some previous administrative experience is preferred.
