Trainee Paralegal – Privacy & Commercial Contracts

About the role

You will support the Head of Legal in embedding privacy throughout the product development lifecycle, helping to minimise operational privacy risks and implement new internal processes driven by legislative changes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in embedding privacy into product development and managing related operational risks.
• Conduct training and raise awareness on privacy matters; coordinate responses to compliance queries.
• Draft, negotiate and review commercial contracts, marketing materials, leases and other agreements for UK entities, liaising with external advisors.
• Update contract templates, Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies.
• Support the legal team in tracking ongoing matters, deadlines and regulatory updates.

Required profile

• LLB law degree.
• Minimum 6 months of paralegal experience, preferably in‑house, with a background in data protection and commercial contracts.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, PECR and related regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities, high attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, international environment.
